First International Conference on International Sport Volunteerism
During the event, EYVOL’s partners will present the results achieved so far by the project with regard to the analysis on good practices on volunteering for social inclusion through sport, while a number of organizations from different sectors will share information on their good practices, policies and experiences with regard to the recruitment, deployment and training of sport volunteers, also in view of promoting future employability.
EYVOL is a two year transnational and multi-sectoral cooperation initiative co-funded by the European Union within the Erasmus+ programme, leaded by the International Olympic Truce Center (IOTC) and involving partners from the Olympic Movement, the United Nations, Academia and civil society, with the aim to develop and implement innovative educational methods to train youth volunteers on how to utilise sport to promote inter-cultural dialogue, peace and socio-economic development.
