À propos de moi
I am Professor of Political Science at the Institute of Political Science and the Jean Monnet Chair of University of Wrocław. Since 2020 I have been a visiting fellow at the Centre européen de sociologie et science politique (CESSP) of the Université Paris 1- Sorbonne, where in 2023 I became a lecturer vacataire of the course "History and theories of integration" (Master in European Public Policy).
My research lies at the intersection of comparative European politics, democracy and parliamentary studies. In the past, I worked as a Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute (2012-2013), lecturer at the Masaryk University (2013-2015), head of EU programme at the Polish Institute of International Affairs (2016-2018) and was also a visiting fellow at (CEE) Sciences Po (2019-2020). In 2021 I authored a book “National parliaments in the political system of the European Union. Roles, ambitions and limitations (Parlamenty narodowe w systemie politycznym Unii Europejskiej. Role, ambicje i ograniczenia) published by Wydawnictwo Naukowe Scholar (Warsaw). My works have appeared inter alia in European Political Science Review, Politics and Governance, Journal of European Integration and The Journal of Legislative Studies.
I am currently a Principal Investigator in an NCN-financed project InPaCo "Two sides of the same coin? Unravelling the potential of interparliamentary cooperation in the EU" (2023-2025).
